Getting Started: Account Setup

Getting started with VideoTap takes about two minutes.

Creating Your Account

1. Head to the VideoTap website and click Sign Up (or Get Started on any pricing plan).
2. You can register with your email and password, or click Sign in with Google to skip the form entirely.
3. If you pick email registration, you’ll need to verify your email before you can start uploading.

Once you submit, you’ll receive a link to verify the account through email you signed up with. Click that, log in, and that’s it! Once you’re in, VideoTap creates a personal workspace for you automatically.

Your Free Trial

Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial that includes:

• 1 free video to process end-to-end
• Access to all content types (blog posts, clips, social media posts, transcripts, and more)
• Up to 1080p resolution

You don’t need a credit card to start your trial. When it ends, you can upgrade to a paid plan or keep using the free tools.

Logging In

Go to the VideoTap login page and sign in with your email/password or Google account. If you forget your password, click Forgot your password? on the login page and check your inbox for a reset link.

Connecting Your Google Account

If you registered with email but want to link Google later (handy for YouTube imports), you can do that from the Integrations page in your dashboard.
