Exporting Your Content

Video Tap generates clips, blog posts, social posts, emails, and transcripts from your video. This page covers how to get that content out of Video Tap and into wherever you publish.

Click Export in the blog editor to open the export panel:

  • Copy HTML for WordPress, Webflow, or any rich-text CMS
  • Copy Markdown for Ghost, Hashnode, dev.to
  • Copy Plain Text for anywhere else
  • Download Thumbnail grabs the AI-generated header image
  • Download All Images packages every image in the post as a zip

On the main video Dashboard, each generated field has its own Copy button:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Chapters (with timestamps)
  • Tags
  • Summary
  • Meta Description

Paste these directly into YouTube, your video host, or your CMS.

  1. Open the clip from the Clips section.
  2. Adjust reframe, theme, and aspect ratio.
  3. Click Render Clip to produce an MP4.
  4. Download the MP4 once it has rendered.

Use the MP4 to post natively to Reels, TikTok, Shorts, X, LinkedIn, or anywhere short video lives.

The Twitter section generates short-form post drafts. Click Copy and paste into X or your scheduler of choice.

The LinkedIn section generates LinkedIn-style post drafts. Click Copy and paste into LinkedIn or your scheduler.

The Email section gives you subject-line and email-body drafts. Click Copy to grab one for your newsletter or send tool.

  • Subtitles download as VTT or SRT.
  • Transcript can be copied to clipboard or downloaded as plain text.

The Translations section generates a full blog post translation. Copy or export it using the same options as the original blog post.
